Types of Waste Required for AWS Inclusion
There are several different kinds of hazardous waste materials that need to be included in an AWS report. These include the following:
- Non-hazardous industrial solid waste (Class 1), if you do not recycle that waste.
- Any one-time shipments of non-recycled Class 1 industrial solid waste.
- Any one-time shipments of hazardous waste materials.
However, there are also many kinds of wastes that you don’t need to include in your AWS, such as:
- Non-hazardous, recycled oil.
- Non-hazardous, recycled oil filters that are drained and free of liquids.
- All non-hazardous waste materials generated by a facility that is non-industrial.
