Project Environmental Engineer/Scientist/Geologist I
Reports To:
Houston Due Diligence Business Unit Leader
Position Responsibility:
Assist ESE’s Due Diligence team with delivery of services to the marketplace in an organized and disciplined manner, striving to continuously improve in the areas of Consultative Project Management, and Technical Guidance.
Positions Duties:
- Maintain an average utilization target of 90%
- Deliver the professional consulting services offered by ESE Partners using ESE delivery systems and methodologies.
- Operate as one of the firm’s technical associates with respect to the disciplines related to Environmental Science and Engineering.
- Assist in the management of numerous projects simultaneously with potentially widely varying environmental scopes of work.
- Conduct Field Investigations – Visual Inspections and physical sampling.
- Manage the installation and sampling of soil borings, temporary monitor wells, and permanent monitor wells.
- Assist in the preparation of Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
- Author technical reports in accordance with the ASTM, TCEQ and RRC Guidelines.
- Perform Risk Based Calculations.
- Manage and interpret laboratory analytical data.
- Manage and approve subcontractor accounts.
- Develop Site Maps and other pertinent drawings using Auto Cad, Arc GIS, and Log

Base Salary:
Based on Experience and Licensing
Profit Share:
Paid Annually as Bonus – based on personal and company performance

Education:
Minimum of a B.S. in Environmental Engineering (M.S. is preferred).
